With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Lisa (Reuling) Lensmeyer, who left this world far too soon on February 18, 2025, at the age of 69 due to colon cancer. Born on March 18, 1955, in Peoria, Illinois, Lisa was the beloved daughter of Dori and Fritz Reuling of Morton and the cherished sister of Mike and Tim Reuling.
For more than forty years, Lisa was the dedicated partner of Andy Cervantes, a Vietnam Veteran. She was a steadfast supporter of Andy's work with the Vietnam Veterans of Illinois, a nonprofit organization committed to honoring and assisting those who served. Whether attending events, helping coordinate efforts, or simply providing encouragement behind the scenes, Lisa played a quiet but meaningful role in his dedication to fellow veterans.
Lisa also provided daily care and support to her mother, Dori, during her years of cognitive decline. She was a lover of animals and nature, finding enjoyment in trips to Galena, Starved Rock, walks along Grand View Drive, and appre
