Carol Ann Reams died peacefully surrounded by family on March 18, 2025, at her home in Peoria, IL.
She was born on December 22, 1940, in Decatur, Illinois, the daughter of Otmar and Lucille (Kuszmaul) Wiltz. Carol graduated from the Academy of Our Lady High School and Bradley University where she joined the Gamma Phi Beta sorority. On June 8, 1963, Carol married Thomas Reams at St. Cecilia's Church in Peoria. They were married until his death, April 11, 2024.
Carol was a teacher at Monroe School in Bartonville and worked as the secretary/bookkeeper for Holy Family Church. She was active with the Gamma Phi Beta sorority as well as at Holy Family and St. Jude churches. Carol enjoyed traveling and spending time with her many friends and neighbors.
Survivors include three sons Michael Reams, David (Julie) Reams, and Andrew (Melissa) Reams; four grandsons, Alex, Joseph, Ben, and Eagan.
