Mr. Felix Dwayne Nixon, 58, Peoria, IL, received eternal peace at 1:22 pm on March 15, 2025 at Carle Health Methodist Hospital surrounded by his family.
Felix, affectionately known as "Bumpy" to his friends and "Wayne" to his close family, was born June 20, 1966, in Peoria, IL to the late Felix and Aughty (Fields) Nixon.
Wayne attended Peoria "Central" High School where he was an avid basketball player. He attended mixology school and was a bartender in his early years and worked at Harbor Freight Tools until his health no longer allowed him to work. He recently accepted the Lord as his personal Savior and was a member of St. Luke Baptist Church.
Anyone that met Wayne cannot deny that he demanded and always was the center of attention wherever he went. He loved playing and watching basketball, playing video games, fishing, playing spades, dominoes and listening to Old School Music.
