Mary Kay Kemp, age 83, passed away on Monday, March 17, 2025 at Lutheran Hillside Village.
Mary Kay was born on October 23, 1941, in Peoria, a daughter of the late Lawrence and Leone (Toutant) LeTourneau. She married Hylee F. Kemp on April 25, 1964 in Peoria. He preceded her in death on May 9, 2020. She was also preceded by one brother, Lawrence.
Mary Kay is survived by four children, Hylee "Matthew" (Lori) Kemp of Peoria, Brian Kemp (Carolyn DuBois) of Peoria, Jennifer Kemp (Jeff Frieden) of Edwards and Katherine (Brian) Yureskes of Broomfield, CO, seven grandchildren, Jack, Ryan and Olivia Schwier and Megan and Edward Kemp, and Ava and Logan Yureskes, as well as one sister, Susan (Al) Ziegler of Naples, FL.
Mary Kay attended Bradley University and later worked in Medical Records at Proctor Hospital prior to welcoming their children. Hylee and Mary Kay were long-time members of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. She was an active member of Philanthropic Educational Organization
