Steven L. Mullens, age 76, of Hanna City, passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Steve was born in Batavia, NY on May 6, 1948 to Dorothy (Burdette) Mullens and Clarence "Ed" Mullens. He married his Bolivian princess, Angélica "Angie" Mullens on February 25, 1973.
Surviving are his children, Stephanie (Randy) Hampton of Mackinaw, IL, Antonia Mullens of Hanna City, IL, and Joshua (Anna) Mullens of Edelstein, IL; his grandsons, Benjamin Mullens, Brady Mullens, James Mullens, and John Mullens; his brothers, Bob (Sandy) Mullens, Marty (Susie) Mullens, a niece, and many nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his older brother, Timothy Mullens.
Steve graduated Limestone Community High School in 1966 and enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. During his 6 year military career, he served in Vietnam, then later at embassies all over the world in the Marine Security Guard. When he was honorably discharged, he began his career in ma
