Richard Glenn Hayden, 69, of Tremont, IL, passed away on March 10, 2025, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center.
Richard was born on May 26, 1955, to James and Shirley (Moore) Hayden. They preceded him in death, along with his brother, Gary Hayden.
Surviving are his daughters: Sarah Tondre, Jennifer Hayden, and Rachel Morgan; son: Mitchell Hayden; grandchildren: Christian, Alex, Paul, Jessica, James, Andreas, Heavyn, Brody, and Amy; great-grandchildren: Delilah and Gabriella; sister: Phyllis (Ralph, Jr.) Wilton; and 2 nephews.
Richard worked as a laborer for Wagenbach Builders for several years, and prior to that, he had worked as a mechanic.
He was a member of the Tremont United Methodist Church.
Richard had a love for history. He always knew what was going on with the weather, and he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and NASCAR racing.
