Steven Edward Pharr, 76, passed peacefully from this world on March 3, 2025, in Peoria, Illinois.Steve was a long-time resident of Pekin, Illinois. Born on July 12, 1948, in Selma, California, Steve was drafted into the United States Army at the age of 19. Stationed in Germany, he served his country while also having the opportunity to travel across Europe. After completing his military service, Steve embarked on a long and fulfilling career with the railroad, where he dedicated 37 years of his life before retiring. Beyond his professional life, Steve was a wild-child at heart. He lived life at full speed and with passion. He loved riding his Harley-Davidson and fast cars, embracing the freedom of the open road. He was an avid supporter of the St. Louis Cardinals and the Dallas Cowboys. He loved throwing steaks on the grill for him, Kaci, and his beloved dog, Jack. He took great pride in perfecting the art of grilling the perfect steak. Steve cherished time spent with family, friend
