Timothy R. Gorman, age 87, passed away on Monday, March 3, 2025 at the OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home.
Tim was born on December 29, 1937, to Richard and Dorothy (Wierschem) Gorman.
He attended St. Mark School, Spalding Institute and the University of Notre Dame.
He briefly taught English at Manual High School in Peoria. The majority of his career was spent in product support at Caterpillar, Inc. and he retired after 33 years.
Tim married Judith Gunther on July 8, 1961, at St. Boniface Church and were together for 61 years of marriage. She passed on March 9, 2022.
Tim is survived by his daughter Amy Twedell of Peoria, IL, daughter-in-law Emily Gorman of Raleigh, NC, his grandchildren, Devin Gorman, Joshua Twedell, Ryley Twedell, Lucas Gorman and one great-granddaughter, Gemma Rose Gorman, sisters-in-law Janet Chidley and Jane (Matt) Hoffman, brother-in-law James Gunther and many Gorman cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, brother William (Bill) Gorman, son Jonatho
