Joseph Stuart Lucas, 63, of East Peoria, passed away on August 16, 2024 at Carle Health Methodist Hospital surrounded by his family.
Joe was born in Peoria on November 5, 1960 to Bernadine (Lyman) and Harold "Sam" Lucas. He married Kimberly Ann (Parrott) Lucas on May 4, 1985.
He is preceded in death by his parents, one sister-in-law, Rosie Lucas and one brother-in-law, Lincoln Look.
He is survived by son Robert "Robbie" S. Lucas; daughters, Stephanie D. Risen and Stacey D. Risen; grandchildren, Kaynen D. Roberson and Stassia D. Risen; siblings Michael (Roz) of Clearwater, Fla., Patricia Look of Kingston Mines, Ill., Becky (Dave) Courson of Elmwood, William (Judy) of Peoria, Thomas (Peggy) of Peoria, Mark (Anne) of Peoria, Timothy (Helen) of Springfield, Mo., and Robert (Beth) of Peoria.
Joe attended St. Cecilia's Catholic Grade School, later graduating from Spalding Institute in 1979 He played football and was quite an athlete. He worked at Fleming and Potter and later retired from Sa
