Roberta "Bobbie" J. Knoll, 89, of Peoria Heights, IL, died on August 17, 2024, at Accolade Healthcare in East Peoria.
Bobbie was born on July 30, 1935, to Frank and Rachel Yarger. She married Frank "Pete" E. Knoll on June 6, 1953, at Christ Lutheran Church in Peoria. He preceded her in death on September 25, 2014. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Carol Lane.
She is survived by her grandchildren: Bobby (Debbie) Lane of Mechanicsville, VA, Jeff (Lynn) Lane of Morton, IL, Nicole Lane-Rodseth of Germantown Hills, IL, and Angela (Ken) Menold of East Peoria, IL; fourteen great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren with one more on the way; son-in law, Robert Lane of East Peoria, IL; and sister, Joyce (Bud) Gibson of Bartonville, IL.
Bobbie worked at a telephone company as an operator for a few years before finding her passion as a travel agent. She took many trips with her family and loved Disney. Bobbie enjoyed Bradley Basketball games which she often took her family
