Joseph Benedict Bousky, passed peacefully in the arms of his parents on Monday, July 1, 2024. He was born on June 20, 2024 and spent 11 days with his family before Jesus and the Blessed Mother took him home.
His life is a gift to his family and community. Many, many people prayed for a miraculous recovery, and his parents are confident that those prayers were answered in the circumstances surrounding his birth and in the strengthening of their faith in God's perfect plan for each of his beloved children.
Joseph is the son of Alex and Leah Bousky of Peoria. During his time on earth, he snuggled with his parents, grandparents, and godparents; he listened to family stories about "Big Bad Joe," his great-grandfather and namesake; and he slept cuddled up to his mother and his twin brother, William. Joseph is very loved and deeply missed by his parents, but they know their son is a saint, watching over his family from Heaven until they meet again.
