Lloyd "Jake" Gerald Jacobson, age 87, of East Peoria, passed away on Friday, June 21, 2024.
He was born on October 28, 1936, in Glendale, CA, to the late Lloyd George and Helen Elizabeth (Shadle) Jacobson. Jake married Nancee Ann Heinz on July 10, 1982, in Peoria. She preceded him in death on February 21, 2022.
Jake retired from Pepsi Co. after 33 years of service. He proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Navy, and was an active member of AmVets Peoria Post 64. At the AmVets, he served as Commander in 2006 through 2008, and then served as Financial Director for many years after.
In addition to his parents, and wife, he was preceded in death by two daughters, Sabrina Page, and Jeri-Lynn Tuffentsamer; and step-son, Greg Joos.
Surviving are his children, Valerie (Jim) Hebbe, Mike (Debbie) Jacobson, and David (Sue) Jacobson; step-children, Lynn (Terry) Wiley, and Bryan (Angie) Joos; step-daughter-in-law, Brooke Joos; son-in-law, Tom (Dawn) Page; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-gra
