Kevin H. Chatwood, 62, died peacefully in his sleep,at his Peoria home, on Wednesday, June 26, 2024. Kevin was born in Peoria, IL on February 22,1962, to Theodore F. and Mary (Whalen) Chatwood. He attended St. Thomas Grade School, graduated from Spalding Institute in 1980 and attended Illinois State University.
He is survived by his significant other, with whom he shared a life that spanned forty years, Dr. Diana Schroer, LCPC of Peoria. He is, also, survived by his children Michael Schroer, Jr. of Kenosha, WI and Jennifer (Andrew) Engelbrecht of Germantown Hills; his grandchildren Michael Schroer III, Natalie Brown, and Aly, Ava, Alivia and William Engelbrecht; his brother John (Lori) Chatwood of Carson City NV; his goddaughter Morgan Umdenstock of Peoria; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other loved ones and friends.
Kevin was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Lisa Chatwood Flaugher.
Kevin worked for many years at Heights Flowers, Kouri's Pub and the Lariat Steak
