Kevin Robert Gibson, 63, passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at his home in Peoria, IL.
Kevin was born on August 11, 1960, in Peoria, to the late Robert W. and Carole A. (Cox) Gibson. He married Patricia A. Perry in November of 1990, she preceded him in death on August 26, 2014.
Kevin is survived by his son, Eric Gibson; siblings, Christopher (Jane) Gibson, Mary Gibson, John (Gena) Gibson, Bob (Sue) Gibson and Anne (Steve) Post, step-sons, William Harmen and Chris Peacock; step-daughter, Jeannie Peacock; and numerous grandchildren.
Kevin proudly served in the US Navy, retiring in 1989. He was a computer programmer system engineer and owned his own company in the Peoria area.
Cremation Rites have been accorded. A Memorial Service will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 28, 2024 at Wright & Salmon Mortuary, with a one hour prior visitation. Burial of ashes with Military Honors will follow at Parkview Cemetery.
