Joanie was born in Peoria on January 29, 1935 to Frederick E. and Gertrude Maddox Lindquist and passed away June 22, 2024 in Peoria.
Joanie is survived by her son, Patrick Mallicoat, daughter, Gaye Sulka, grandson, Skylar Sulka, niece, Signe Lindquist, nephews, Scott and Randy Lindquist and their families.
Joanie was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, daughter, Kim Mallicoat Hodgson, her aunt Ruthie, parents and four brothers.
Mom was our best friend. She was game for almost anything we suggested, and it usually turned out great fun. She gave us a wonderful life and we will love her forever.
Cremation rites will be accorded and there will be no public services.
